Yggdrasil Continues Expansion Process With New Greek Supplier License
Yggdrasil is one of the more popular online gaming developers in the world. The developer has witnessed a lot of success in the last few years and continues to make big waves in the global gaming market. Their latest expansion will be in Green as the developer announced that it had received approval for a Greek supplier license.
With the recent reorganization of the online gambling market Greece, there is a very good chance that Yggdrasil will quickly become one of the premier brands in the country.
With new rules being rolled out in Greece, the Hellenic Gaming Commission which is the gaming regulator in Greece has gone on a spree and approved a number of licenses. The commission has been very generous and given them out to both local and international companies. With this new license, Yggdrasil will be able to release its offerings into the Greek gaming market.
Yggdrasil has an impressive online casino games suite, which should be a hit with local online gaming operators and allow Greek players full access to their games. Yggdrasil has a solid portfolio of both online slots or casino games. One big attraction is that these games have Yggdrasil’s Game Engagement Mechanics (GEM), which should be attractive to operators who want to offer their players a unique gaming experience.
Yggdrasil Gaming
Besides the games from Yggdrasil’s main studio, there are also additional offerings from the company’s YG Masters program. This allows for third-party studios to offer their games out to operators and give them access to some niche games.
Yggdrasil has been quick to capitalize on the license. The developer revealed that it has already teamed up with several local operators to launch its gaming portfolio across Greece. Yggdrasil will have stiff competition as a number of other developers have also been given access to Greece. Some of these developers include Pariplay, SoftSwiss and 1X2 Network.
Ready To Deliver
Yggdrasil Chief of Global Market Operations Björn Krantz said they were very happy to have received approval for a supplier license in Greece. Krantz said they were ready to make their presence felt in the market and add value to the overall gaming industry. The Greek license for Yggdrasil came after it received ISO/IEC 27001 accreditation. This is the international standard for information security and will further strengthen the brand’s reputation with Greek players.
Yggdrasil also announced its also saw its entry into Slovakia’s online casino market in August thanks to a partnership with Tipsport.
