Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort Hires Agilysys Solutions

Agilysys, Inc is a specialist provider of innovative hospitality software solutions and services. The company recently announced that it had signed an agreement with the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort to increase the efficiency and improve the overall customer service at the casino which is located in Hogansburg, New York.

The casino wants Agilysys to implement its InfoGenesis POS system and its rGuest Pay payment gateway solution that will enable the casino to offer a robust and secure credit card payment, improve overall guest service and implement strong process and procedures to make operations as seamless as possible.

The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort consists of 150 hotel rooms, 4 restaurants and a lounge and gift shop. The casino was looking for a software solution that would enable its operations team to fully automate its food and beverage services via a secure and integrated point of sale and payment gateway solution. The casino reviewed Agilysys solutions and was impressed with the innovative features that the solution provided and was confident that Agilysys would enable the casino to reduce the risks associated with credit card processing and also increase overall guest efficiency and satisfaction.

In a statement, Toby TenEyck, director of food and beverage at Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort said

The decision to partner with Agilysys was a easy one for me. The functions of the InfoGenesis POS system are much more intuitive than those of the competition, and the rGuest Pay solution is purpose-built for the complex merchant environments prevalent in the hospitality industry. I had also worked with Agilysys at a previous property to transition from another vendor, and the entire process was very smooth and organized. Most importantly, the support Agilysys provides is exceptional. The company responds immediately to questions and requests and truly acts as a partner in helping to streamline processes.

The casino industry in the United States is extremely competitive and it is imperative for casinos to consistently provide its guests with service that exceeds their expectations. Casinos realize that in order for them to bring in consistent profits they need to be able to turn one time customers into regular customers and the only way they can achieve this is by investing into the overall customer experience to ensure that their patrons do not take their business elsewhere. The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort believes that by partnering with Agilysys, they have taken a step in the right direction in building a loyal customer base.
