Spillehallen.dk has been a major casino provider in Denmark for a number of years. The company’s roots goes back to 1972 when its mother company Compu-Game was founded to produce and sell electronic vending machines and slot machines. In 2012, Spillehallen.dk was established to offer online slots machine games, two years after Compu-Game merged with another slot machines developer, Dansk Automat Expert.
Spillehallen has been offering online slots to the online Danish market for a number of years and has a strong online player database. This time, they’re trying to expand their reach by targeting women—thus the release of the new site, Bingohygge.dk and the partnership with Betsoft.
Betsoft Gaming
According to Aaron Axisa, account manager at Betsoft Gaming, women have become one of fastest growing demographic in the online casino business. Their new suite that will be offered on the Bingohygge is tailor made to target Danish women aged 30 to 65.
In a statement, Axisa said,
It is brilliant to target Bingohygge.dk toward a female audience. We are sure that building a site customized to that group will be a resounding success. We know Spillehallen.dk has the experience and dedication to create a superior experience for these players
It is a win-win for Spillehallen and Betsoft since Spillehallen has been looking for the right gaming provider to expand their reach in the Danish Market for a long time. This serves Betsoft well as the company has always been looking to make an entry to the Danish market. After its first partnership with Vores Medier, Spillehallen has decided to work with Betsoft to offer new 3D slots and table games.
News of the partnership between the Danish Spillehallen and Malta-based Betsoft was sparked as early as 2015, when the partnership deal was signed enabling Betsoft to provide Spillehallen with a range of desktop and mobile games.
Spillehallen country manager Peter Bregnhoj then characterized Betsoft’s games as visually engaging and beautiful, with a gameplay that is “smooth and inviting”. According to Betsoft, they are offering their full suite of gaming software over at Bingohygge, including their proprietary Slots3, Classic Slots, and mobile-friendly app ToGo.
Bingohygge.dk was launched on January 1 and is now live for all Danish players. The site offers the Original Danish Automater, 3D slots like Fruit Zen, 4 Seasons, A Christmas Carol and classic online casino games like Blackjack.
