The game developer recently announced that it has gained approval to enter the African market via Ghana and also will be launching in Spain.
Some of the top slot games that Habanero has released over the years include 5 Mariachis, Arcane Elements, Dragon’s Throne, The Koi Gate and Four Divine Beasts.
Habanero recently announced that it signed a deal with Betway to supply online gaming content for its operations in Ghana.
This partnership will now allow Betway players to gain access to a long list of Habanero titles in the African country. Some of the games that players in Ghana will enjoy include games like Hot Hot Fruit and Egyptian Dreams.
Habanero
This deal came about via Betway Africa which manages Betway’s African operations. Betway Africa operates in a number of African markets, including South Africa and Kenya. The move into Ghana is a major one for Habanero since Ghana is the second biggest market in West Africa, with Nigeria at the top. With a presence in Ghana, Habanero will now have a good foothold for expanding into other parts of Africa.
Habanero Head of Business Development Arcangelo Lonoce said the African continent was a promising area for growth for the company. Lonoce is also very excited about rolling out new games in Ghana so that local players can have a taste of the Habanero experience. Kwabena Oppong-Nkrumah, Head of Marketing at Betway Ghana, is also very excited about partnering with Habanero and giving African players a chance to explore the exciting gaming portfolio from Habanero.
Habanero is not just looking to establish its presence in Africa but is keen on expanding globally. The gaming developer has also expanded its presence in the Spanish market recently by signing a content supply deal with local online casino operator Codere. This new partnership will allow Codere to offer Habanero games to players all across Spain.
This new deal continues the Codere and Habanero’s history of partnerships in the Spanish-speaking world. The two companies already have partnership deals in both Mexico and Colombia, which control a big percentage of the Latin American market. The move into Spain is a great move for Habanero since Spain is one of the biggest regulated gambling markets in Europe. Habanero is already operating in Spain through its partnership with 888casino.
