According to the acquisition, NYX gaming Group will pay an amount of CAD $150 million in cash and this will see NYX also entering in to a supplier licensing agreement with Amaya. Upon finalizing the deal, NYX will now provide games to Amaya subsidiaries – PokerStars and Full Tilt.
During press release, NYX reveal the following highlights from the deal -NYX gaming library will be increased from its current 350 games to 650 games and also an increase in its customer base from 130 to over 170 aprox. It will also increase its public and operating markets profile Matt Davey, NYX CEO commented on the acquisition deal and said,
We are pleased to have acquired Chartwell and Cryptologic from Amaya as well as partnership. The deals will provide NYX additional gaming content and we believe this is a strategic growth for our business.
David Baazov, Amaya CEO further added,
we have further deepened our relationship with NYX and this transaction is a strategy of divesting our non-core B2B online casino operations at which we will still have the ability to deliver new, innovative and popular game titles on a regular basis.
