The online gaming establishment has hired over 600 additional staff since the start of 2014 and has plans to add another 300 staff in the coming months. Most of these opportunities are for customer service, product development, IT and operational staff. Playtech is looking to aggressively ramp up its staffing plan and is seeking to hire top candidates who will fit into the company’s culture.
Playtech currently has a global staff of around 4,000 employees and could very well pass 4,500 by the end of 2015. The company recently announced that it is in the process of closing a number of high profile clients in Europe and the United Kingdom. These customers are a mix of government and non-government enterprises that are looking to collaborate with Playtech and avail of its services and expertise.
The company has dominated the online gaming software market by employing some of the software consultants and not being afraid to experiment with new games and innovative technology. The company of late has focused on the online sports betting market and developed new technology that has proven to be immensely popular in the market. Coral Connect is one such product that has proven to be a great hit with the clientele and amassed over 200,000 clients in a twelve month period.
