Greece released its new gambling regulations at the beginning of August 2021. This came about after a major reorganization of the entire market online gaming market. The reorganization was undertaken by the Greek government and the HGC. One of the major moves in this process was establishing a license application process. The HGC asked potential operators and suppliers in late 2020 to send in their license applications.
HGC started issuing licenses earlier this year and Pragmatic Play is the latest developer to get a license. Some of the other developers that have already received a Greek license include Yggdrasil and Wazdan. With this new license, Pragmatic Play will be able to position itself strongly in the Greek market by establishing partnerships with top iGaming operators in the country.
Pragmatic Play has already signed couple of partnership deals with Kaizen Gaming and Novibet. The company is expected to announce another list of iGaming operators that it has tied up with very soon. Pragmatic Play Director of Compliance Sheriff Khamoura is very happy with the license and is very optimistic that Greek players will appreciate what the company has to offer.
Pragmatic Play has a solid portfolio of hit games to offers. Slots are one of the company’s big offerings and they include such hits like Wolf Gold, The Catfather, Great Rhino Megaways and Sweet Bonanza. A number of new offerings including Fruity Party 2, Chicken Drop and YumYum Powerways will also be available. Apart from its slot portfolio, iGaming operators will also get access to Pragmatic Play’s live dealer offerings.
The developer is always coming out with new games coming whether they are slots, bingo games, or live casino titles. All of them are easy to integrate and should be up and running in no time at licensed Greek casinos.
The Greek entry is just one of the big moves Pragmatic Play has made to strengthen its presence in Europe. The developer recently announced an extended partnership with Planetwin365, which operates in Italy. Pragmatic Play also boosted its German presence by signing a content supply deal with StarGames.
