Princess Cruises is gearing up for the launch of its biggest casino yet, the “Princess Casino”. The new gaming facility is one of the key features of Princess Cruises’ latest ship Sun Princess which sets sail in February 2024.
According to a press release from the cruise liner, Princess Casino will offer a much bigger space and more gaming machines than the Royal Class casinos.
Princess Casino will occupy nearly 9,000 square feet of floor space with 10-foot-high ceilings, housing a total of 227 slot machines and 13 live tables. Guests will enjoy new linked blackjack and poker table progressives with high-value cash top rewards, along with top-of-the-line gaming seating for both slot and table games.
The casino will feature a high-limit slot area for the high-rollers, and a first-of-its-kind “Buffalo Zone”, a special gaming zone dedicated to fans of Aristocrat Gaming’s popular Buffalo-themed slot games. Princess Cruises’ biggest-ever casino will also be equipped with interactive audio-visual technology, bringing new gaming experiences for guests and customers.
Princess Casino will be located on deck 8 near the ship’s atrium called the “Piazza”.
According to John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises, the company has embraced the casino experience and is proud to take gaming to a whole new level with the upcoming launch of their biggest-ever casino at sea.
Princess Casino is just one of several exciting offerings at Sun Princess, Princess Cruises’ newest and “most innovative” ship which can accommodate 4,300 guests, with 21 decks and a gross tonnage of 175,500GT.
Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, Sun Princess will set sail in February 2024. It will feature luxurious accommodations along with world-class entertainment and dining experiences.
Bookings are already available for those keen on joining Sun Princess’ inaugural voyage to the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Caribbean next year.
