Silver Heritage has already expressed interest in developing another casino in Nepal and is looking at a site that is towards the east and near the border of Sikkim and Bihar, two states in India where gambling is illegal. The Australian based casino operator already runs the Millionaire’s Club and Casino in Kathmandu and Phoenix International Club which is close to Hanoi, Vietnam.
The company did not share more information about its plans for another casino in Nepal but did disclose its marketing strategy for the Tiger Palace Resort in a filing made with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Tiger Palace Resort
Silver Heritage plans to target the lucrative Indian market where gambling is illegal in most states. Currently only Goa, Sikkim and Daman have casino gambling and attract domestic tourists from all over India. The Tiger Resort casino is located near the border of Uttar Pradesh, the largest state in India which is estimated to be the wealthiest state in India in terms of GDP.
Silver Heritage has planned a number of cocktail events and press conferences in Northern India to promote its Tiger Palace Resort with an objective of forming partnerships with major travel operators in India and connections with social media influencers. The company has also been promoting its new Tiger Palace Resort via social media from September 1 by running marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Silver Heritage has also confirmed that it had entered into a partnership with one of the India’s top online rummy providers who will display the Tiger Palace brand. Rummy is a lot more popular than poker in India and is currently the number one online card game in the country. The company has also confirmed that it has launched a mobile app that provides detailed information about the services and facilities offered at the Tiger Palace Resort and keeps track of reward points.
