Unibet Launches Online Casino And Sports Betting In Pennsylvania

Unibet is continuing to expand its presence in the United States after launching an online casino and sportsbook in Pennsylvania. The company recently carried out a soft launch in the state that faced a few glitches but it is now operating smoothly. Unibet’s launch gives Pennsylvania its fifth online casino and seventh sports betting website.

Unibet has been in the online gambling business for over two decades now and has operations all over the world. The company only recently started operating in the U.S and launched first in New Jersey.

For its Pennsylvania operations, players can access both sportsbook and casino on the same site, with a single account being able to access both types of wagering.

Unibet entered into a partnership with the Mohegan Sun Pocono tribe to launch operations in the Keystone state. This partnership will see Unibet assisting the casino runs its physical sportsbook which opened back in September. The brand is happy to partner with the casino since it is already an established presence in the state and allows Unibet to come into the market with a solid infrastructure.

Much of what Unibet has to offer in Pennsylvania is similar to its New Jersey offerings but the company has confirmed that it has licensed more games for its Pennsylvania operations. The Unibet online casino features over 88 games for desktop players with mobile players having access to a smaller number.

Unibet is looking to provide players in PA and outstanding experience at both its sportsbook and online casino. Since Pennsylvania legalized online gambling and sports betting together, Unibet was able to prepare and launch both operations simultaneously.

PA Market Competition Heating Up

Though Unibet is a world-recognized brand, it does face some stiff competition in Pennsylvania. The country’s two leading daily fantasy sports operators FanDuel and DraftKings have a solid presence in the state and have stronger ties to the local market. Unibet has formed partnerships with the Philadelphia Eagles in an attempt to boost its brand image in the state.

The immediate goal for Unibet is to ensure that its online casino and sportsbook in PA runs without any glitches. The second goal will be to work on building trust with the local gaming market and come out with exciting offers and bonuses to capture more market share. Unibet plans to continue its expansion in America and running a successful operation in the PA market will be of high importance.
