The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) pays special attention to the gaming industry and conducts in-depth research and studies to come up with solutions and predictions that will help gaming operators around the world.
UNLV is scheduled to hold an interesting discussion at its International Gaming Institute on December 13 discussing some critical topics in the industry which include building casino player loyalty and better iPayment options.
For any business to thrive and succeed, they need to have a reliable and loyal customer base. One time buyers are great but they do not bring in a steady stream of revenue and cost a business a lot of money in attracting new buyers. This is especially true in the gaming industry as different surveys have shown the casino players have a tendency to be loyal to one brand for many years.
The session that will be hosted by UNLV will focus more on developing player loyalty with land based casinos. The President of Player Development Systems, Inc – Nick Ippolito will chair this session and share his views and insights on what it takes to build a loyal casino player base. The session will stress on the importance of finding a good host and how the hosts skills will play a part on whether the player builds a trustworthy relationship with the brand or moves on to new waters.
The power of having an experienced and empathetic host is crucial as when a player suffers a loss at the table, they need the host to guide them through this difficult moment and not let them go on an emotional rollercoaster.
There will also be a session on developing better iPayment options for online casinos to give players more variety. This is crucial in the iGaming industry as players from all over the world are signing-up at online casinos. While one processing option might be popular with one part of the world, it may not be popular with another demographic. This is why it is essential for iGaming operators to have multiple payment options.
Key stakeholders in the industry will share their views on this topic including the scrutiny that FinCEN, AML authorities and the Federal Government is imposing on the online casino industry
